I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful holiday season. I’m writing to you for the first time as APCO Atlantic Chapter President—and, of course, to ask for your help.

At last month’s conference in Mystic, CT, Life Member and Past International President Joe McNeil presented a motion to the quorum. The motion stated:

“To authorize the executive board of the chapter to establish a committee to work with APCO International for the purpose of hosting another International Conference in Boston, MA, on dates to be determined. This committee should be established at the close of the conference and report to the quorum annually or as necessary.”

Following the motion, I announced the formation of this committee. I am now seeking volunteers to serve. The committee will consist of a Chairperson and four members.

If you are interested, please email your credentials and a brief explanation of why you would like to participate. The deadline for submissions is January 9 at 15:00 hours.

Additionally, I am looking for up to five volunteers to join a work group tasked with reviewing and recommending updates to the Chapter Conference Manual. This group will also have one Chairperson and four members. To participate, you must have prior experience working on a chapter conference. The deadline for submissions is also January 9 at 15:00 hours.
